Pens Beat Caps!

In the last 22 times these two team and rivals faced off the Pens are 13-7-2 i would say that is pretty good i would love it to be 22-0 against the Caps but i cant take away that the caps are a solid team but not as good as the Pens. The final score of the game on Tuesday, December 1st, 2011 was 2 to 1 Pens. The 2 goals for the Pens came from Craig Adams and Chris Kunitz and the caps goal came from Jason Chimera. Early in the game an enforcer came after Arron Asham for the fight back in October when he knocked that guy out. Arron Asham actually lost that fight but he had some good hay makers in there as well. One player to talk about who is playing his butt off this year is Marc-Andre Fluery he stood on his head this game and just had an amazing game so here is a video for him! Go PENS!!!

He in my opinion is the best goaltender in the league right now he is a freak!!

Sidney Crosby's Return

I know what all of the Penguins fans are talking about now is the first game back for Sidney Crosby. That was the craziest comeback i have ever seen. He has been out of hockey for 11 months and he comes back on his first game and just dominates against the New York Islanders. His second shift of the game he roofs a back hand 5 minuets into the game that is just unheard of. He ended up with 2 goal and 2 assist which equals 4 points. A lot of people don't even get this in 1 game and he did it after 11 months not playing in a single game. Here is a Video of all 4 of his points.

So it is safe to say the Sid the Kid is back!! The Pens are defiantly a Stanley Cup contender and i believe that they are going to win the Cup this year they are the best team in the NHL right now in my opinion. I couldn't even imagine trying to stop Sid and Geno on the same line that is just insane! GO PENS!!!!!!!

Pens VS Avs

The Pens and Av's faces of on Tuesday November 16th. It was a really good match up the Av's jumped out to a comfortable lead for any other team. But when your playing the Pens you might need more then 3 goals to beat the unstoppable Penguins. The Penguins never gave up after they fell behind 3 to 1 at the end of the first. They Penguins came out in the second period all fired up and ready to win this game. In the Second period they got up on the board to make it a 1 point game 3 to 2 Av's. I think Arron Asham gave the team the boast they needed to win this game he got in a fight in the first period and won it so it gave them all momentum. Then, they went to the third period and this was unreal they got 4 goals in the third period to win the game 6 to 3!!!!!

Another crazy thing about this game was that the pens had 6 different scores that got goals! They said Sidney Crosby might have played this game but as we know now he didn't. I hope we see him back soon. Go PENS!!!!1

Pens

The penguins are still playing solid hockey since the beginning of the year. They are in first place in there division they have a 3 point lead over one of there rivals the Flyer's. If they keep playing at the level they are playing at now i don't think anybody will be able to stop them and keep up with them. My thoughts are when they get all of there star players back they will have a really really good chance on winning the cup. They are my prediction on who is going to win the cup this year.

Hopefully us Penguins fans will see this again this year. So talking about this is there any update on Sidney Crosby? I haven't heard anything all i have heard is that there is no time table for his return and that scares me a little bit, but i have faith that he will return soon. GO PENS!!!

Penguins

The Penguins season has been under way. They have been doing really well right now they look like they have a ton of team chemistry this early in the season. The power play is the most shocking thing this year. Every time we are on a power play it seems like we get so many opportunity's and shots on net. Most of all we have puck Poisson mostly all of the time on the power play. The one person that has really showed up this year that is a shocker would be James Neal he has 8 goals already and a couple of those goals were on the power play. The whole team has been contributing though a couple key players would be Jordan Staal, Marc-Andre Fleury, Kris Letang, and Chris Kunitz. Also in the fighting department to get the team the energy they need when they are down or when a player goes after a superstar like Kris Letang.

That fight gave the Penguins to get momentum to tie up the game. Even enforces help out the game like Arron Asham did right there. Lets hope the Penguins can keep playing good and for Sidney Crosby to lace them back up pretty soon!!!! LETS GO PENS!!!!

Well preseason hockey is now officially over and now comes on the regular season there are a quite of few games on today opening up the first games of the season!!!! The penguins had an amazing preseason this year they were undefeated all the way up to the last game of the preseason against the Detroit Red Wings. They fell to them during the last game of the preseason so they finished out just losing 1 game. I know it is just preseason but that probably makes a lot of penguins fans very happy!!!

There is also some bad news that comes along with the good news. They have released that Sidney Crosby is not going to be able to play in the opening game that is tonight. But they hope to see him get cleared for contact soon and try to make a full recovery and be a superstar once again. The scary thing is going to have to be when he plays in the first game and some one gets him with a very hard hit, is he going to feel an symptoms coming back. That is really my main concern at this point. Saying this i hope he comes back soon!!!!

Well preseason hockey is under way! i know i am excited and i bet all of the penguins fans out there are really excited. They have played two preseason games and they have won both!! The first game they played was against against the red wings and they won that game. The good news about that game was that Malkin came back from the knee surgery and played one heck of a game that is a good out look for the rest of the season. I just hope he continues to play this way. The second game they played was against the Chicago Black Hawks. They also got a W this game. The one person that stood out to me in this would have to be Staal he played really good. Having him, Malkin, and Sid back that is going to be one sick combination.

I was on NHL.com earlier today and i said a couple experts trying to predict who is going to be the eastern conference champions and they both come to a conclusion really fast and said the Pittsburgh Penguins. The reason they said was not because Crosby is going to be back but that Malkin is back and playing with more heart and determination and he is look strong as ever. Also, the team showed that they could be a good team when Crosby and Malkin were gone now could you imagine when we mix those two superstars in with the already good team. I agree with those two experts.

The Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby had a interview today about what his thought are about him coming back this year. He said that he thinks that he is going to make a full recovery and will be able to play this season. The doctors that were with him at the press conference agreed with Sidney that he is going to make a full recovery. One reporter asked Crosby is he has ever thought about retiring during this whole process dealing with his concussion. The answer Sidney gave to him was that he never thought about the idea of retirement through this process and that he knows this is a serious matter but he doesn't think that he needs to retire.

Guess what is going on this week penguins fans yes your right mini camps start for the penguins prospects and we can finally see what the draft for this year is going to look like and if they look like a good class. We can also see if the rookies that are at the camps we can see if they are going to contribute to the team at all. If we add a couple good rookies to the already good team that we have that is gonna even make us more better. I can't wait in till they release the finalized roster so we can see who we have kept and who we are going to let go as the camp comes to a end. With the Prospect camp starting now it is making me want the season to be here already!!!!!

Hockey season is almost here. The fans in Pittsburgh are prob are really excited that hockey is almost here that means they can watch there team the Pittsburgh Penguins play once again. There are a lot of questions you have if you are a penguin fan. Like is Geno going to come back and play at the level he has always played at? Is Sid the Kid gonna finally come back from his concussion that had him out for almost or the whole second half of the season? And finally are the rest of the players going to play there hearts out like they did last year.

The main thing that we all want to know is when is Sidney Crosby going to be able to come back and practice with no restrictions and work hard at coming back. I heard that he is making huge progress and cant Wait to return and play with his team mates again. He has a scheduled to meet with the media on 9/6/11 at 12:30 A.M it will be streaming live on the Pittsburgh Penguins web site i know i will be tuned in watching it! I think that Sidney Crosby is going to come back this season and start off we he left off at. Him and Malkin are going to return and the team is just going to get that instant chemistry back I can't wait until the puck drops on opening night. GO PENS!!!
